Ue4 landscape api

  • Jan 09, 2016 · The short answer is that you do not. Unreal is optimised around the task of rendering an relatively small visual database and the stuff which happens within it. The database is assumed to be a FPS style level.
There is a landscaping plugin for UE4 (it's somewhat like World Machine inside UE4). I need it tested, so I will give you the plugin (it will remain yours) and pay for your time. I'm guessing there must be some bugs in the plugin, so I want you to find them and report in some reasonable form.

A REST API is basically nothing other than a website, just instead of a visual and usable interface for humans you get data in return. You develop a webserver that is connected to a database. With this webserver you can communicate by requesting specific data.
